Autobiography

I am a Career Development Practitioner with Seabird Island Band Employment Training & Social Development Office.

Personal Goal & Vision

"I will deliver relevant and knowledgable career development services to others with honesty, integrity and openness. I will keep an open mind to others world views as I work to create a safe and welcoming client experience. I will strive to continuously improve my skills and knowledge regarding career and personal development."

I also am a owner/operator with BRICAL Training Group. We offer Mobile Equipment Operator Certification courses in; counterbalance forklifts, aerial lifts, mini/compact excavators, front-end backhoe loaders and skid steer loaders. As an IVES Certified Trainer my primary concern is to ensure each trainee becomes a qualified operator who returns home from work each day safe and sound.

Most recently I worked as a Coordinator for the BladeRunners® Fraser Valley program at Métis Nation British Columbia (MNBC) with responsibilities for client recruitment, training, and job placements. Prior to joining MNBC, I worked in the health and fitness industry at several organizations. Notable are my five years as a fitness instructor for Great West Fitness Clubs, where helped clients achieve and maintain healthy lives.

My greatest strengths are my focus, drive and leadership. I thrives on challenges,
especially those that increase the program’s effectiveness. My most recent project involved a strategic partnership with Aboriginal Community Career Employment Services Society (ACCESS) to potentially bring MNBC’s BladeRunners® services to Aboriginal youth throughout British Columbia.

I hold a Diploma in Business Administration from the University of the Fraser Valley. I live in Chilliwack with my spouse; I am blessed with four wonderful daughters and an
exceptional son. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family watching movies, gaming, and playing at the park
